Busing for school integration
Moakley, John Joseph, 1927-2001
United States. Congress
Description
In this press release, Congressman Moakley expresses his disappointment that a Democratic Caucus vote on forced busing did not pass a measure that, if passed, would have resulted in the recommendation of a constitutional amendment to ban forced busing. Moakley asserts that he and others who support such an amendment will “recharge our batteries” and continue their work on the issue.
