Description
In this statement, Congressman Moakley testifies before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee that in Boston, “busing to achieve racial balance has had an opposite effect.” He provides enrollment and population statistics to support his argument that forced busing is not working, and that the only solution “is to pass a constitutional amendment that will forbid busing our children to achieve racial balance.”
