Description

This correspondence includes a letter sent to Congressman Moakley from a resident of Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood, as well as Moakley’s response. Accompanying the letter is a copy of an informational mailing that Moakley sent out to his constituents to outline his position on several issues, including fuel prices and jobs. In the letter, the constituent makes clear his or her anti-busing sentiments. In a one-and-a-half page reply, Moakley assures the constituent that he is working hard to end forced busing and outlines the legislation that he has “developed and filed” in Congress.
