The METCO collection consists of Board of Directors records, financial statements, parent handbooks, press material, reports, memoranda, and newspaper clippings. This collection is unrestricted and open for reserach.</span>

In this letter to the Mass. State Senator William Owens, Jean McGuire expresses her concern about the pivotal role of METCO in Boston desegregation, and how it may affect the future of the program. She insists that METCO should stay on its current path for the sake of the students involved in the program, and outlines their current financial situation, along with hope that Senator Owens will contact them with any concerns.
