Busing for school integration
School integration--Massachusetts--Boston--History
White, Kevin H.
Description
Letter to Mayor White from a Hyde Park resident who is upset about the violent responses to busing in Boston. The writer is a young white woman who has lived her whole life in Boston. While she does not believe that violence is ever the answer to issues, she understands why people are upset about busing. She personally does not feel safe driving in Mattapan because she is white, and wants to change that.
